He should not have been killed. That is an easy way out for him. Any of you, such as Satisfied American, who think that him being killed is 'justice' fail to see that violence is not the best form of punishment. Violence was Saddam's prefferred method when it came to exercising control and encouraging fear and look where that got him. So for what I understand is this. Somebody in Irak tried to kill Sadam long ago ( a Shia if that is what I recall). Sadam took revenge and killed their people. I'm almost sure it is a fake execution video. First of all, the rope is too long for such a height. Second, we cannot see the hanging but only the beginning and the end. Third, we cannot see his feet, so he might be standing somewhere. And the most important of all: how do we know this is Saddam himself and not one of his many identical twins that have also been used in the past? I think it is very possible that they made this video to examine the reactions of the people all over the world. I expect that tomorrow they'll tell us he's alive.

There are so many issues that are wrong here. Frankly we have no right to decide if a person live or die. Even if he/she have done things that are unforgivable. With no heir to carry on his legacy he might have repented and might have contribute to better the world or at least pay for his deeds. He is not a terrorist. He was a leader of his country. Any leader of a country will retaliate to which he thinks is right to a do, if threatened by outside force/s. The only difference is that sometimes the other party will only understand reasoning from the end of a muzzle. So instead of writing hate messages of religion base or president base message. We should just pray that where ever he is now. He is being judged truthfully and impartially. Well actually by muslim believe he is still not in hell yet.
