In a hockey match between Florida and Buffalo just last night, Slovakian player Richard Zednik got his throat cut by his own teammate by accident.
He falls down and his skate goes into the air, hitting him on the throat. They managed to control the bleeding and get him to a hospital.

It was NOT the player's nose. The skate hit the carotid artery. 30 more seconds on the ice and he would have died. The game should have been called.

If it was his nose, why was the player, and then the trainer, holding the neck? Idiot. The players themselves decided to carry on, so hard to say play should have been stopped.
