News reporter melts down over Paris being lead story

I can't help but sympathize with this woman, but she has a meltdown on live TV because Paris Hilton is the lead story insted of actual news.

She's a brave woman though, that's stuff that gets people fired, but she does what she believes in.

This is what should have been done long time ago. I mean, the real reason people hates Hilton is because of the media. I cheer this Real Reporter for the real news.

Oh? You haven’t heard? You (the viewer) choose what the headline is going to be. Any news agency that doesn’t have this kind of mentality doesn’t last. Thank you, free economy! So, to you couple of ignorant go-go internet happies, blame the “big-wig” owners and scoff at those two anchors that were annoyed by this little girl’s fist in the face of Big Brother. But it’s actually more true that our newswoman was going against the American public. Hoo-ray! lol. . .

I don't know if I'd call it a meltdown.

Posted by: speedle 30 June 23:44

Wow! Super move. Everybody watch this lady, let's keep her on the air!

Posted by: anonymoose 30 June 23:44

no meltdown. would not have been funny though if the lighter went out of control and set the whole set on fire...

Brandon you're a fucking naive twat. the corporate media tell people what they should care about. Who gave a shit about Paris Hilton before the simple life?? no-one because no-one knew who she was. People only care about her because the media makes her a celebrity then enforces the ideal that we should care about her and instills the aspiration to be like her. It wasn't the anchors who were annoyed at her defiance it was the producers. they were the ones yelling in the ears of the other two to keep the story going as it fitted the agenda of the news station.

Strange tags ? what are you after? Interestinly Paris gets mentioned in the comments but no-one knows the name of the reporter. Brezinsky isn't it? Keep her on to replace larry King who runs only with the Paris shit. From www.thebaldchemist.com see you soon for some more riviting news from the gun capital god feraing USA

Good on the gal. What pisses me off is the lack of ballz the guys around her have. Would it have been too hard for them to support her, or do they feel like real men when they try to patronize her?

Impressive.I wish our newsreaders would not read out the rubbish they do some mornings. There are days when there is very little news and they could play some nice music instead of reading out trivial rubbish.

GO MIKA! i salute you.

Way to go, Lady!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I think the people of the WORLD are sick and tired of Paris Hilton having to be held accountable to the rules of our society. Tough tittie, Paris, grow up and act your age.

Heroic, Thats all I can say!

Who's the guy on the right? What a dick.

Posted by: cattieloves 1 July 21:02

I think she's awesome, and she's totally right. And I also think the guys are funny for screwing with her and putting the video up. :*)

Too bad that most of America is more interested in Paris than in our country's criminal behavior.

You go girl !!! Thank you for standing up and saying no more. This has to be the best thing I have seen on TV in awhile. LOL is all I can say about the wimp guys

that lady is the shit.. she knows the truth.. and shes tired of bullshit.. hell yeah.. forget paris.. tell the people the real secret..

Posted by: John Nagy 10 July 17:35

you could kinda see in her eyes and spirit. that there was somthing more that just the paris thing.. shes tired of filling the publics mind with crap.. things no human needs to know.. gosip.. rediculousness.. its gone too far.. the 90 percent of mindless drones in this country are getting too mindless to the point where any one and any thing can control them.. thank god for people who every now and then say .."naw fuck that"... question every thing about the world, its a backwards rediculous place.. that dude was all being a douche.. playing to the system.. my god get a soul u fuck..

seriously there is a war on. Paris Hilton is for the tabloids. I can't tell if those guys are joking or serious.

Posted by: JustaPerson 20 July 01:29

She is my new hero. Young women the same age as P. Hilton are dying in Iraq, but the producers think Hilton should be the lead?! Americans need good information to make good decisions. That reporter is a journalistic hero and those two guys are just jackasses.

Posted by: Johnboy 24 July 04:19

She tried to be like Grace Kelly!

I applaud this woman's taste without a doubt. I too am sick of Paris Hilton but what she has done is wildly unprofessional. She had many options that did not include instigating an on air battle. She could have talked to the producers off air, she could have quit, but instead she acted like a bit of a brat. This shouldn't have occurred on public TV. I would say that the men were equally as unprofessional in their responses. A very childish display all around.

When I saw this, my one thought was, "Give that woman a raise, or better yet, make her a producer!" At least she knows what is not news.
