Americans generally do not know the difference between an English accent and an Australian one. It's a bit like me not knowing the difference between a Californian accent and someone from Miami. As for the general ignorance of people in the US, you culd ask the same questions to 1,000 people from most countries and get half a dozen idiots like these. This is an awful joke. I am sure these people know that 911 is (just that) September 11th. Although, I can see where some might mistake the year. I am positive most will never forget that day, where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news about this volitile attack on all Americans. The year for some may seem so long ago and for others much more recent...this is all based on personal perspective. Regardless, the horrific reality that 911 happened at all will NEVER be forgotten around the world!! Terrorism right in all our faces... right here on our beloved American soil!!!

The sad thing our liberal politicians used every means possible to have this atrocity removed from the American media so that we would get over the fact that it happened. What I found interesting is that people would bother to use this forum to make comments about the TV piece they viewed without investigating what they were commenting about. Why take the time to make a comment about the validity of the show without doing some simple fact checking. If one spent 45sec they would see the episodes title at the end of the show: The Chaser's War on Everything. Spend another 15 sec to go to Wikipedia or Google and see that this is an Australian satirical comedy show. Another 30 sec and we find that the reporter is Charles Firth. So lets all spend a little time examining what we are seeing before commenting.
