I'm not sure this is a healthy living situation. He could get hurt and you could get beat up and/or sued. It might be worth it to look for a new place or hug it out.

i had a room mate that did the same.i cured him with a few gallons of ice cold water at 3 a.m. mind you it took several lessons before it sunk in. might have also helped that i was 6'3' and 240
